THE EARLY YEARS

In 1968 I met Jewel Weber of Jewel Ken Pomeranians at my first AKC show. She was showing Jewel Ken's Little Eddie-a darling little sable boy and I was captivated by the quality and spirit of this little guy-and the obvious love Jewel had for her Poms. We began a conversation that resulted in a lifelong friendship. Jewel has been my mentor, friend, and second mother for all the years since.  She is dearer to me than words can say.  Jewel Ken Shining Flambeau "Beau" -shown above-was my first show Pomeranian from Jewel Ken, but certainly not my last. Timstopper Tiny King James came to live with us a few years later-Jewel was his breeder, and then Jewel Ken Crumpet N Cream.  Beau was primarily Van Hoozer bloodlines, Jamie was Models, Great Elms, and Van Hoozer, and Crumpet was Scotia Cavilier and Van Hoozer.  Buddy's sire was Jewel Ken Crumpet N Cream.  These three boys were the beginning of what was to become Beau James Pomeranians.  Their obvious beauty, type and soundness laid the foundation for a level of quality that has endured throughout the many years since.   

FIVE DECADES LATER

I have spent a lifetime dedicated to the betterment of the Pomeranian breed.  My interest in the exotic colors has not been in vain-as the exotic colors are now developed to a level of quality never before seen in the AKC show rings in the USA.  If there has been a single quest in my life this has been it.  The determination and focus necessary to obtain these goals have not always been easy-but I feel well-rewarded to see my passion for the exotic colors  in the AKC show ring validated with their wins and Championships.   The interest in the exotic colors has never been higher throughout the world than it is currently.  I founded a group on Facebook called AKC SHOW POMERANIAN PUPPIES as well as two other informative groups.  We now have a total membership of over 12,000 members.  These groups are some of the few Pomeranian groups featuring AKC SHOW BREEDER-EXHIBITORS and their exotic colors as well as the often seen oranges and sables on Facebook.  Please visit us if you are a FB member-and I think you will be delighted and amazed by all the lovely quality in standard and  exotic colors displayed by top AKC BREEDER-EXHIBITORS.
We have adorable puppies for anyone from the discerning show breeder to the family who wants a beautiful and healthy little Pomeranian to share their life with.  We are the breeder of the #1 American Pomeranian Club Agility Champion, BEAU JAMES ROTTEN TO THE CORE-HOF and of three of the top-ranked Agility, Rally and Obedience Poms in the USA currently-and our Poms have been known for their soundness and intelligence over the last five decades-53 years of dedication to excellence !  Our puppies have given much joy to many folks throughout the last 50 years-and we take great pride in knowing their beauty, intelligence, and versatility have brought so much happiness to so many people.
